The room was visibly clean, checked in after 1AM - night clerk was efficient. Room was adequate. The desk clerk in the morning, not overly friendly. Overpriced for a Motel 6 but it is in Napa, so I would expect it.

Due to lack of planning, we were forced into a hotel from our RV over Thanksgiving week. We were treated so great by the staff here, accommodating our trailer parking and package deliveries without a problem. The room was comfortable and the frig and microwave came in handy, and the wifi and cable tv were good. It's not fancy, but it's in a very convenient location and the price was great for that area. Our only problem was the low toilet (due to our aging bodies), but otherwise it was great. Also try the Pizza Guys (flyer in the room) -- they were fantastic.

Convenient location, small sitting area, fridge amd microwave, good value for the location. Check in was easy. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Booked online. Back from the main road and very quiet.

I understand that this Motel 6 is in Napa, CA is is less than 500 meters to the Marriott but proximity does not call for these prices.

We did arrive about 20 minutes before the stated 3PM check in and were told that they were busy last night and that our room was not ready and would not be ready for an hour, good thing we were able to be flexible, in face we drove to the Marriott for a drink, I wished that we had made reservations there.

The room was definitely spartan, decorated and outfitted with what I would consider IKEA furnishings. There was no DVD player in room, no alarm clock, no complimentary shower supplies etc. There is not even a control for the heat/AC, and with no extra blankets in the room we froze over night while sleeping. To add to the chill the floors are a cheap engineered flooring (think pergo) making it cold and loud.

Our room was in the rear of the hotel, what you need to know about this is that there are rail tracks that run between the expressway and the motel, this is a very active rail line and the trains are loud and frequent.

While the bed was passable I believe we were told that we reserved a king, what we slept in was not a king at all, not even close.

There is a pool on site but we did not utilize it due to the hours and our schedule.

There is also ample parking for the hotel.

Overall this appears to be a 60's built hotel that has gotten little more than paint and cheap furnishings as updates, apparently ownership feels this is adequate to charge astronomical prices, after all...this is a Motel 6.

With all the options in Napa there are much nicer places to stay, we simply waited a bit too long to make a lodging decision and landed here. Would have been OK, but not for almost $200/ night!

Room tip: Don't get a room in the back near the rail line.

I had to be in Napa on business on short notice and Motel 6 was the cheapest I could find. I've had dreadful experiences with M6 in the past and was not looking forward to this stay. It's truly decent. This is an older property but it's newly renovated, clean, good bathroom, a very comfortable bed, flat screen TV, lots of power outlets, microwave & frig, which I always appreciate. Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. Motel 6 is a budget chain and this one didn't dispel that. I would stay here again.
