This well managed non-chain hotel tucked away in busy Bay Area.
We stayed here twice. The second visit we noticed that they offer red wine+ snacks in late afternoon Monday-Thursday.
The make-to-order omelette just delighted the breakfast. We over heard one customer offered cash to make his omelette as priority because he didn’t have time to wait. The kitchen staffs declined the offer in courtesy by saying there were 10+ orders in front of him and sorry they couldn’t change the order sequence. Seeing they served one after the other quickly by orders, I had to drop tips in the bowel next to the coffee stand.

The room was clean so we were not sneezing by allergy at all. We sure be back next visit.

I give one star due to various reasons. Our stay at Zico this past weekend has been one of the worst hotel stays and vacation till date. Firstly I should say never stay at Zico with a baby (infant). We told Brita twice and called the hotel in the morning, to keep a crib in the room and they never did when we arrived. We arrived at 9:00 PM just to let you guys know. Also when I called Brita inquiring why the crib was still not there, she replied very rudely over the phone. She came to our room and just pushed the crib through the door and told us to arrange & place the crib by ourselves. Frankly speaking it was a difficult task as the room was so much, it was really difficult to squeeze the crib in between. We thought of booking Sheraton, but insisted my husband to book Zico just to have an unique experience. But it was close to none. Secondly, the fridge was not working and the guy at front-desk was extremely good unlike Brita. He came at 12:00 AM at night and smilingly changed the fridge for us. The AC was too noisy and the bathroom at roaches as well. Oh well! the sink tap was always dripping. So you know it was not only one of the worst customer service from Brita but also the rooms were not good. Please don't think we have not traveled with our baby earlier, we love to travel and have traveled quite a lot and mostly stayed in the hotel chains. So, i would like to say to the management of Hotel Zico, get your customer service lady fixed.

I stayed with my son for one night. The room was very clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the cookie was delicious! Donn at the front desk was really friendly and helpful. My girlfriend (who was also staying) and I really enjoyed the complimentary wine and snacks at happy hour! I will definitely stay at the Hotel Zico again whenever I need a hotel in the area!

Loved Brita! She is so funny, definitely will be visiting again! She was able to suggest a really great room for me. Also love the location of this hotel. Definitely recommend it as they don't seem to have a lot of business.

We stayed in the Hotel Zico for three nights to visit family. The location was convenient, but the property is noisy because it is right next to Highway 85.
The breakfast was very good and the service attentive.

Room tip: Try to find a quiet room away from the Highway
