I have to confess I was a little skeptical. I like to kayak, and this looked like it might be silly. I couldn't have been more wrong - it was really fantastic. The picture shows you the set up, but you can't see how easy it is, and how stable. You get a lot more oomph for your effort than kayaking, and no blisters either. With being up a little high, you can see much more clearly around you, and into the water. The steering is easy and intuitive, and you can reverse. Mark is very good about letting you know where to go, what the tides and wind are doing, and what to watch (and watch out) for. Great for kids, adults, and anyone who can pedal. Amazingly, we just wore the street clothes we walked up in and had no problems at all. Worth trying - best to reserve in advance.
