Stayed here for a night when passing through Morro Bay. Perfect distance away from the town to walk off dinner on the way back. Clean and tidy and pretty quiet too. Oh and good shutters to keep the early sunshine out.

Stayed: September 2016, travelled with friends

Came to stay for my husband's birthday. It was our first time staying at this hotel. We will definitely be back. It was clean, the customer service was great, and the price was affordable. It is in a great location and perfect walking distance to the water.

Since the coast highway was closed, we had to scoot to the East and our intersection with Morro Bay was the Seaside Inn. Although over-all setting was somewhat "motels" the room was excellent, roomy, well-appointed, roomy close to waterfront. Not cheap.

My husband, young daughter and I arrived at the Seaside Inn late one evening during peak season without reservations. We had just had a terrible experience with a neighboring hotel that had egregiously and unapologetically botched our online reservation, and were in dire need of lodging. Thankfully, there were vacancies at the Seaside and the understanding gentleman at the front desk soothed our frayed nerves with his kindness and quickly had us settled for the night in a spacious room. The room appeared to have been recently renovated - new windows, new plantation shutters, new bathroom (with a notably large tiled shower), and was clean, quiet and comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk had also thoughtfully brought up a rollaway bed for our daughter and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel has a great location less than a block away from the Embarcadero, and a quick walk to Morro Rock, but was quiet and peaceful at night. Kudos to the new management and thank you to the staff of the Seaside for their professional grace, and customer service!

Room Tip: Good value for the quality of the rooms. Second floor was nice and quiet.

This is a renovated older motel. It is bright and clean and the beds are reasonably comfortable. It is only a short walk down to the shops and restaurants of the embarcadero. They serve a very basic breakfast out of the tiny lobby.
