One negative is $30.00 per night to park in open parking lot. No newspapers available. 3 day old USA Today only option. ATM Extremely Slow, though I'm sure that is not the fault of the hotel. Service at bar and restaurant excellent. Beach literally at your door. Only ate breakfast at restaurant. Limited menu.

Dear jjones615615,

Thank you for your insights. The resort fee is indeed $30 per day, however the fee included parking, WIFI, fitness center access, Pool Access, 2 complementary bottles of water (replenished daily in the room) as well as the Beach access. I apologize for the ATM machines timeliness; I will advise our team of this concern. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and hope to welcome you back in the future.

Warm Regards,
Ashley

I would not recommend this hotel because we did not like the property. The staff was very friendly, they did everything possible to make our stay more agreeable. However the building is old and dungy. The elevator is extremely corroded, it is actually scary to ride on it, and the room had a very old and untidy look and feel. We did not enjoy the one night we stayed here and were actually really looking forward to the next morning.

We have been before when it was it was still a Best Western. The place has declined since the new management took over; Tides.
"Boutique Style" is not so boutique. The rooms were needing an updated look and feel. The bathroom was looking dingy and the room was very "sandy". I hope this could help them do much better.
The front staff are not the friendliest. They made us feel like we were intrusions/interruption to their jobs.

Room Tip: Ask for a clean room

For $300 per night, the hotel was tired looking and not a "resort". 1. For 2 days we walked past room service dishes outside rooms that had not been cleared. 2. We did not sit on the decks below our room as they were covered in seagull poop. 3. The walls leading to the beach access were covered in graffiti. 4. The pool area was small and lacked enough shade. 5. The champagne promised at check in around 3pm arrived late at night.6. There was no balcony.7. The ice machine looked so old and dirty we left the hotel and bought ice.8. There were no chairs on the beach for us to use if we wanted to sit on the beach and enjoy the beach access. 9. The pool did not overlook the beach nor could the ocean be seen from the pool. It was a hot and isolated small area.10. No breakfast was included11. Took 7 hours to receive the complimentary champagne for our anniversary. This hotel was EXTREMELY overpriced for what we received. We could have stayed in the Best Western down the street for $100 less per night AND had breakfast and a wine and cheese hour.

Dear Dana G.

Thank you for your insights. I apologize for the pool location being on our inland side, and am sorry that the complimentary Champagne, our staff at the front desk sent, did not arrive until later in the evening. I will follow up on the issue of the Room service trays, beach graffiti, and bird droppings with our staff to ensure these concerns are resolved.

Warm regards,
Ashley
