We stayed here for one night, and it was very nice. The family who run it is very accommodating and make you feel right at home. The rooms are spacious and themed to the local community. Great for families, and can also be a good quiet getaway for a couple who like the outdoors. Its only about 10 minutes driving time from the lifts at Mt. Shasta, and Shasta has ski lifts, which looks like it would be fun. Frankly, I would reserve a room early for a fun ski weekend. Sure, it's not Lake Tahoe, but that's the appeal to me.
