“Brighton Beach Brunch - Yummy!”
Review of Doma Kitchen

Showed up with out-of-town friends of a leisurely Sunday brunch and found the perfect treat! The Brighton Beach Benedict was a pair of perfectly crunchy potato pancakes (hash browns) topped with smoked salmon, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. Garnish was fresh arugula, capers & a bit of red onion. Well-brewed & bottomless cups of coffee added a nice touch. Attentive service and comfy seats. The main dining room is an art gallery, which this month featured art by local Japanese artists. When I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop in.

The words are not enough to describe the excellency and amazing flavors for the food in this restaurant. I've been at the restaurant in multiple occasions and never have I been disappointed with the food, but in this occasion I was mesmerized by the Lamb Burger, I mean this burger took to Flavor Town, perfectly cooked with caramelized onions and blue cheese, in a brioche bun.

I knew that this restaurant had out of the ordinary food choices and I had heard good things about it. It is comfortable and interesting and the wait staff are very friendly. The food seems a bit pricy but it's probably on par for similar places. I thought the food was fair and my dining partners were underwhelmed by their choices as well. I had heard some people say they had great food so I was very disappointed.

Luckily its si tucked into the northern end of the Manhattan Village Mall, if elsewhere it would be packed. Creative kitchen with a great rotating men designed for sharing food, and plenty of entree selections. This Eastern European / Russian style of food does not have much presence in the South Bay, and DOMA represents it well. Lot's of food selections to explore. Not the fanciest place, very casual and community focused.
