Description: Manhattan Beach Post (M.B. Post), a soulful, highly personal restaurant by Chef and co-owner David LeFevre brings a playful, artisan menu of small shared plates, hand-crafted cocktails, and small production wines to the South Bay. M.B. Post is the culmination of 15 years of work, travel, and finely honed technique in the world's most vibrant culinary communities by Michelin-stared chef, David LeFevre. Renowned for his fine-dining experience and seafood mastery at Water Grill, LeFevre returns to his culinary roots with a more rustic menu, built to be shared and served in a gracious and welcoming environment.

My sister the foodie recommended we go to this restaurant for dinner before we took the red eye home from LAX. It has a youngish, hip clientele. The bacon cheddar biscuits were superb. The scallops with creamed corn was delicious. Portions are on the smallish side. The lighting was kept a bit too low for my taste. Our waitress completely disappeared for 15 minutes before finally showing up to give us the check, which was anxiety provoking because we had to catch our flights. Check before you order refills of tea -- they were not free during our visit which caused a bit of sticker shock.

Been here a few times now and it´s always packed located just steps away from the ocean. I loved the Cheddar Bacon Bits and also the Green Curry Musssels, also good is the Braised lamb belly.

This is not a place for a quiet dinner or to go to talk to people. The atmosphere is loud. Much of the seating is communal. The food is good and organized mostly as plates to share. It is best to go with several people so you can get a few dishes and try everything. There isn't any special parking. It was a little harder to find vegetarian dishes as meat was added to many otherwise just vegetable dishes.
