I'm been coming to Craft Century City since it opened years ago. If you look at it today, you would think just opened.

This restaurant is impeccably maintained, the food quality is out of this world and the service is friendly, detailed and precise.

The Menu changes on a regular basis so there are always new expereinces to be had! It all takes place in a sophisticated environment.

Excellent Experience

If there is a way to make simple food taste absolutely amazing, Craft LA has done it. Some basic dishes are cooked perfectly. The food is placed in the middle and split so a few apps, a main dish and a few sides were good for a group of 4. We had avacado salad with green tomatoes and spicy peanuts, porkbelly, flatiron steak, salmon and a pasta dish. Sides were mushrooms and sauteed peppers. Sounds pretty basic but each dish was excellent. Service was also very good. With drinks and no dessert, the tab was about $100 per person which isn't bad.

We have been to Craft after a few hours landing to LA from a long houl flight. We arrived to the restaurant 15 mins before our reservation time. The hostess told us that there is still quarter an hour for our reservation and took us to the bar. The restaurant was almost half empty. After complaining she took us to our table.
The waiter gave us good information on the menu and thereafter amuse bouche was served.
The duck breast, beef short rib and loup de mer were all delicious. They served a mini cake with the coffee. The service overall was very good.
They gave each of us a small pack of home made granola while leaving.

The CRAFT chain of restaurants is really about classic dishes. With these classics delivered with consistency.

The menu is meant to be shared, for the most part. We bypassed the first course since we did not find it interesting and headed straight to the courses with the classics of Duck Breast, Flat Iron steak and the Loup De Mer (branzino/sea bass). Accompanying these were the asparagus and shishito peppers along with gnocchi with parmesan.

The duck was cooked perfectly. The flat iron was cooked perfectly. The loup de mer will cooked (pan fried) perfectly; many restaurants mess up on the fish by serving it over-cooked but not this time. The gnocchi in particular was very light in texture and done to perfection.

The decor of the restaurant is mid-century american, I believe and very comfortable because there is actually space between tables and no overly loud music; we were actually comfortable when talking with each other.

Total bill with a 1/2 bottle of wine, before taxes and tip: $230 for a group of 3. Not inexpensive but it was worth it.

I would return again and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Though I asked for no additional salt or sauce on any of the food, the chef totally disregarded that and dumped salt on every single dish I ordered. I ordered a plain salad of just lettuce and there was salt on it!! I was very upset. The food was okay, but the sides were appetizing- try the cauliflower.
