We stayed here for 3 nights during the heatwave in late October and we absolutely love this place. The staff are friendly, helpful and take a real pride in what they do. The hotel has a charming Art Deco feel. We had a brilliant room, which came with a kitchen, separate bed rooms and a lot of additional space for storage etc (basically an apartment - you could live here long term quite happily). The only small issues - the shower is a traditional over the bath model - functional but won’t blow you away and the air con is quite loud - but given we had temperatures over 100 degrees we were happy enough with the noise because it worked well. The complimentary breakfast is a really nice touch. Great location for Hollywood - go see a movie at the Chinese theatre and Universal - for which you can buy tickets from the hotel to get you 9am entry and therefore early access to Harry Potter rides (and go via the tube - one stop and a short walk to Universal). And eat at the nearby California Pizza Kitchen - best pizzas we’ve had in a long time - perhaps ever. Very happy to highly recommend this hotel - it’s great.

Stayed one night there while driving up from San Diego to Yosemite. The room appears old fashioned but the location is great. We even went for a late night movie by walking. Parking is very convenient too.

Came here with my father for 4 nights. Location was fantastic. Literally behind the Dolby Theater and Hollywood Blvd. 10 mins away by car to Universal. Took the Starline tour bus which stops right in front of Dolby. The room was nice. Had two Queens which were comfortable. There was a leak from the shower head which was my only complaint. Alben the manager was great and brought our big luggage to our room. Only 2 floors and no elevator but wasn’t really an issue for us. Breakfast was good. Would recommend if looking to be near all of the main attractions

We have stayed here before and I felt like I needed to write another review. When we got off our 13 hour flight, we headed to a different hotel nearby which ended up being awful, so we were basically homeless on the other side of the world. We were incredibly stressed, and turned up to the Hollywood Celebrity and asked for a room. Raymond looked after us and got us checked in, and we were so incredibly grateful for his kindness and understanding at getting us booked in last minute! The hotel itself is lovely. It's quite small but perfect. They have a laundry room at the back which is super handy if you have washing to do. The hotel is in an amazing location, being only a five minute walk to everything. The street it's on is quiet and safe. If we come back to LA again we would stay here!

Room Tip: Ground floor, as I didn't see an elevator while I was there.

Stayed here 3 nights on a road trip around CA & one of the best we stayed in for value & position. When we parked in the Hotel carpark looking at the outside we worried it may not be as good as the reviews , soon as we walked in the front door realised we did not needed to have worried. Loads of Art Deco inside & friendly staff as well, Rooms very good size & clean. Position good not be better , Hollywood Boulevard & walk fame just short walk away. Nice complimentary breakfast to set you up for day.
