The room I received (single, Queen) was large and clean and generally attractive, though quite standard for a mid-upper tier hotel. However, it was it was not in the main building, which made getting to and from a bit cumbersome. The service was solid. While the price was reasonable, there is really no way to avoid adding the $36 parking fee per day to the overall cost. One cannot get to the hotel other than by car--usually your own or a taxi--and there is no street parking nearby; separating the two costs--hotel and parking--is artificial. I thus suggest that anyone considering this hotel add a $36 per-day fee to whatever the room cost happens to be.
Two minor gripes:
1. Of my 5 days at the hotel, the coffee was not replenished on 3.
2. The shower-head is fixed, which makes showering a bit less convenient than if it were possible to remove the head from the fixture.

Room Tip: When available, I suggest asking for a room in the main building (where the front desk and concierge are located).

We were in town for my son's lacrosse tournament at UCLA, and this location was perfect! It has a great vibe, nicely appointed rooms, and very comfortable beds! This will be our choice next time we're in LA as the location on Sunset and the 405 is ideal!

I've stayed at the Luxe Sunset Blvd. several times and have always had a positive experience. Our room was spacious and clean. The service at the front desk was excellent and the staff was more than willing to do whatever possible to make our stay very enjoyable.

On March 26 and 27 we stayed at the Luxe on Sunset, what an outstanding hotel. It is convenient to all of Beverly Hills, Hollywood, UCLA. The people are so accommodating. The valets that meet you when you arrive at the hotel are very impressive and helpful. MICHAEL,Cynthia and Maria ensure that you feel welcome and are willing to do anything to ensure you have a delightful stay. Thank you MICHAEL.
We will return in May!!!

Just spent 4 nights at the Luxe at the end a spring break / college trip week and love this place (second time after short one night stay). Location near UCLA with easy access to many other places is great. Rooms and service are very nice - not 5 star but solid 4 Star. Beautiful pool, good bar and food. Only smallest caution is the possibility of getting overbooked at busy time. We arrived late and they asked if we would be open to spending one night at another hotel — Full complementary — but we declined given previous travels. And our reservation was 100% honored so no issue. But you may want to check with hotel if you are arriving very late during a busy time. You can’t go wrong overall with Luxe Sunset. It’s a wonderful place.
