Very close to the grand food hall which is open until about 10:30.
As it is downtown, should you walk round the area, please make sure you go the toilet before leaving the hotel as places like subway, McDonald’s etc don’t have toilets which I think is due to the homelessness in the area.
I would recommend going the broad art gallery which is 5 mins walk up but make sure you book a week before as queues all the time.
One evening we got the bus to ‘the original pantry’ it is worth s visit.
The hotel is close to the train station so we got the train and bus to Griffith observatory, oHollywood a few times and to Santa Monica pier.
Loved Griffith observatory. The Hollywood walk of fame is quite short, as the further you get down you realise there is not much to see. We had something to eat at ‘Mel’s diner’ here as it was nice inSan Francisco and it was the same here so I would recommend. Marshall’s is also here along with a shopping centre so you can get some bargains in Marshall’s which is like TKMAX in the UK.
Santa Monica Pier was a let down. Basically s few old tides and lots of food stalls. Not what I expected.
Lots Angeles is very spread out so I am not sure if we made the best choice with the hotel but we made the most of public transport which was fine and reliable.
