this place has great food and classic dishes with roast beef and rotisserie chicken as staples. always too crowded and noisy, but worth it.
I wish they would bring back lunch!

This is a very busy place, and we had to wait for about an hour. While we were waiting we had the grilled artichoke, which is their signature dish and is truly exceptional. It is apparently grilled in olive oil and garlic, and ours was done just right.

When our table was ready my wife had a French dip sandwich. Our son had barbequed ribs and our daughter-in-law had a sashimi salad. All of them were happy with their choices, but nothing matched the artichoke. I had the smoked salmon appetizer, hoping for something light. What I got was a piece of salmon that must have weighed half a pound. It was very nice, but too much for me to eat at that point.

This is an attractive place, and the service was fine, but be prepared to wait.

I love this restaurant. Haven't been here for awhile because it's pricey. Great for families or couples. Food is amazing. I love the ribs. Enjoy!

Always consistently excellent food. Not fancy but always prepared perfectly. No overdone fish, soggy veggies, or stale bread.

We love this place and wish it were closer to us, but we make a point of going every time we are in the area. For years the food has been consistently good, the service excellent, an the atmosphere inviting. We recently took friends from Spain who had been with us for two weeks touring the U.S. after stops in NYC and SF and our native, San Luis Obispo. Their father is a chef, so they are used to good food. They claimed this to be one of the best meals of the trip---and we had had some good dining experiences. We had the ribs, artichoke, enchiladas, and skillet corn bread. It was delicious. As usual. Our waiter, Charlie, was the nicest guy we had in the whole two weeks. Our guests were vegetarian and he went out of his way to accommodate their needs. The manager, Hunter, was most open to compliments about Charlie and very welcoming as well. Just a great experience. The kind you want to have when you are showing off your country!
