Breakfast is better than others worse than others. Bed was very comfortable and the view from the room was excellent. The property seemed very well kept and the staff was EXTREMELY friendly (a friend had dropped off a gift basket welcoming us back to LA and the staff made sure it was put in the room before we had access to it)!!!!! I honestly wish I could remember names (I had written them down but lost my paper. We arrived on 4/14 at about 3:00)!!!!! We visit LA often and we will be back. One issue: The amount charged for parking is really high. We were there the weekend of the Grand Prix and couldn't find a parking space so our parking was comped.

Room tip: Get one viewing west for views of the ocean.

No issues - great location, walk across the bridge to shopping, food, entertainment, and stroll along the water front. The hotel is very relaxing and staff was friendly and helpful. Guest shouldn't have to pay for parking. Breakfast was good, plenty of food for all.

The grounds are beautiful. The pool/jacuzzi was nice right on the waterfront. The breakfast and hotel is a Marriott standard that you can rely on. We had a nice stay here. It would be a great place to stay pre or post cruise, but we were just staying the night to visit the OC beaches after a late LAX flight.

We really enjoyed the excellent free breakfast. There is a wonderful heated pool and hot tub. Lovely view of the water. We had a clean, spacious suite. Kitchen makes it affordable to eat a few meals in. We found the Resident’s Inn to be a warm, welcoming place. I highly recommend!

Room tip: Ask to face the water

We stayed here for two nights in March and we were pleasantly surprised. Although the room was smaller than what the Marriott website shows it was clean and offered a great view of the water. The room had a small kitchenette which was nice. The kitchen seemed a little worn down and dated but there was nothing wrong with it.

The bed was very comfortable and clean.

The breakfast was very good and the staff members who were working ensured there was lots of food for everyone. The waffles and fresh fruit was a hit with the kids.

The room was a great value and We will be back next time we are in Long Beach.

It was another great stay at a Marriott!
