The service was excellent and the food was just right for a late meal. I had the pesto chicken sandwich and my wife had the Minestrone soup. Both were really good with the huge quantity of vegetable in the soup being the star. Two nice glasses of wine and great service and we couldn't have asked for more.

We always enjoy lunch Chow, situated in the busy Lafayette Circle area. The food is always fresh and healthy and this is a great spot for lunch. Metered parking is generally not a problem during lunch time. The inside of the restaurant can get pretty loud, so we prefer to sit outside, which is perfect on sunny days. The pizzas are delicious as are the salads, which come in various sizes depending upon your appetite. Our raspberry apple crisp was absolutely scrumptious.

Probably one of the most reasonably priced of Lafayette's casual dining places. Not saying it's cheap but it has a decent atmosphere patio seating and a well stocked bar. Plus the retail operation has some nice foods.

We reserved a table for 8 for a Saturday brunch and unfortunately waited awhile because one of the tables they needed just would not clear. Here you will find an eclectic mix of foods which is why we chose Chow. It did not disappoint everyone’s need for their tastes. Especially with a large group, we had a range from pizzas to pancakes, eggs and salads. They forgot mushrooms on the vegetarian pizza so we waited again. Service was good.

Although I don't think the food here is anything special, it is always crowded, always full of people having a good time, and the happy atmosphere is infectious. Eggs are good, hamburgers too. Salads are a bit more than OK. But you come for the fun. The gourmet groceries in the market at Chow are a bonus for those of us who are only occasional cooks.
