Overall, the condo was fine. The bathrooms are very nice, the kitchen is great, the washer and dryer are state of the art, and the beds were clean. It is more of a place for people who want to split costs while stile enjoying the comforts of home than for a couple who want to spend nights in. At the going rate, for a group of 4 looking to log some serious beach/bar time in Mission Beach, it is a steal and WAY better than staying in some motel. But for a traveler looking to spend more time in the condo, or people looking for something that is in a less urban setting, I would try one of the higher $ properties at Bluewater, or maybe even a hotel. This property is right in the thick of the Mission Beach scene, and the nearby locals get LOUD, including blaring their music at all hours. The condo complex itself is quiet, but it is right next to local houses and busy streets, so if that is not what you want, don't stay here. And the TV does not get many channels, so if you are thinking of coming to Mission Beach to get caught up on your TV watching - unless your favorite shows are infomercials or spanish-speaking soap operas - find somewhere else to stay. If, however, you are looking to enjoy a really great beach or hit one of the many great local bars or eat some of the local cuisine, then this is a good spot for groups of friends who want a clean, well-appointed place to crash. The complex is nice, securely gated, and the Bluewater staff reach out to make sure they can help you, if needed. If I had it to again, I would have shelled out the money for a more domestic spot, but if I was a few years younger and out surfing or drinking or generally out on the town, this place would have suited me just fine.
Spacious and very clean good location . Bed on main level uncomfortable but other beds comfortable enough
