We really enjoyed the warm focaccia bread offered on the table. We ordered the bolognese pasta and the pasta with eggplant (forgot the name) and both were excellent and filled our desire for a yummy italian dinner, made better by a lovely waiter and nice, modern seaside ambiance. Will try again and will enjoy watching them grow. Congratulations on a lovely beginning.

Atmosphere is excellent. This restaurant just opened. The Caesar Salad was very good, although my husband said he didn't taste the sardines. I ordered very light dressing, so I'm guess that's why it seemed lacking to him. The Prosciutto with Melon was good, but the prosciutto was cut too thickly so it wasn't delicate and light. The melon was very good though. We love octopus, but unfortunately, it was probably the worst octopus we've ever had. It says slow cooked, but we were told that it is cooked by placing in hot water, then chilled, a process which is repeated multiple times. Unfortunately, it had no flavor and the combination of the ingredients were incongruous in our minds. There were a few very thinly sliced pieces of octopus on a slice of orange and the light green sauce was also tasteless. We were told it was a celery puree. There was fennel under the oranges and black olives. We didn't like the combination of items or flavors.

I think given some time, this restaurant will adapt and get the kinks out. It was just unfortunate for them that we visited on one of it's first nights open. The service was very good, and they offered to take the octopus off the bill or give us a free dessert, but we declined since we didn't send it back or want dessert. The waiter took it without asking why we barely ate any of it, but only told the owners what we thought after it had been cleared.

The expression of beauty! And the taste is amazingly real! The chef seems like he knows what is doing. From the amuse to get the table started (Italian tapenade and butter passion fruit flavor) to the bread, the focaccia, pasta and dessert, everything is homemade. For those who love the real and good Italian cuisine, this restaurant is a must to try!
