When we arrived the friendly owner led us to our room at the back of the complex- a standard room with a shared bathroom. The room was a fair size, cosy and clean with a mosquito net to shield us at night. The rooms can be padlocked from the outside and are bolted from the inside. Didn't feel particularly secure but the owner offers to keep your valuables for you or you can just take them with you as we chose to do. The bathroom was fairly clean and spacious but did not have hot water which was definitely refreshing after a day in the sun. The wifi did not work from these rooms towards the back so we retreated back towards the entrance when we were in need of signal.

Only negative about our stay here was the huge blue lizard that gave me a heart attack in the bathroom. Oh and also the face-sized spider on the back of our door. So if you're not keen on surprise sneaky reptiles and insects, I'd advise to keep your wits about you!

Otherwise a great find!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights over NYE and both agreed it was the best 'budget' place we have stayed as far as bungalows go. The rooms were clean and simple (towel provided, fan, bug net, shelves, drying line for clothes), the bed was comfy, the shared bathrooms were very clean our whole stay and the breakfast was delicious. They also serve French pressed coffee which we were ecstatic about! Delicious. The staff were accommodating and kept your valuables locked up at front since there is no safe in the rooms. We loved our short stay and loved the slower, quieter pace of Otres 1 beach (compared to serendipity beach since we are not traveling-to-party). It's no 5 star star hotel but for the price it's excellent and the cleanliness and care of the accommodation. We loved it.

We stayed here for 4 nights then went to KRS, then we came back and stayed another 3 nights. The huts are great, have fan, net, little table, bed side tables and shelves. Perfect to put your things. The walls are concreate and beautifully painted.
The shower and toilets are also very nice.

The couple who run are both very nice. The let us keep our bags there while we went KRS.

Really nice place.

The bungalows are very lovely and clean. Toilet and shower work and everything is taken care of. The hosts are nice. Good thing here is that if you want silence and anonymity, you can find it. If you are more into a party place, this is not for you. Recommended for sure!

Otres Beach is definitely the area to stay when you are in the Sihanoukville area. If you want a clean, neat, affordable place to stay, this is it! The staff were wonderful and helpful. The huts were nicer than I imagined and very tidy. So, so close to the beach, but far from the loud late night crowds so you can get some sleep if you go to bed early like me. This is not a 5 star hotel, so it's good to expect that you will bucket flush (it's Cambodia) and cold showers.... but so refreshing after a day in the sun. Really a wonderful atmosphere. Definitely one of the nicer looking huts I saw on this beach.

Room Tip: They are all great!
