“A good stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2012

Stayed in Coolabah for 5 nights and was a good stay. The staff is very helpful. For example, Willam (an English guy) knows a lot about the area and is available to give you helpful information when needed. The rooms are clean and the bathroom on a high western level. Airco is working properly. There is a safe in the room and the doors are in a good strong shape. I say this cause it is important to have the possibility to keep your belongings safe. They serve good ILLY coffee in the morning (breakfast is not included in the price). It is a good hotel and gives you a safe feeling staying there. I did not take any pictures of the hotel cause already a lot here on tripadvisor. It certainly merits a second place here ...I join a picture of the local market of sihanoukville...

Stayed 4 nights. Room was clean with the shower seperated in the bathroom with a shower screen. Was nice not to have a wet bathroom after a refeshing cool shower. Service was efficient with reception staff being most helpful.Would definetly stay here again.
Was moved to a room at the rear of the hotel as renovations were being undertaken. A little noise from Utopia however not sufficient to interrupt my sleep.

Expat staff let this hotel down. Service not on par with elsewhere in Cambodia. Good location noisy neighbor. Kitchen bar and cleaning staff fine. Tuk tuk drivers outside hotel very reliable .Great massage around the corner at Meta

We stayed at Coolabah Hotel for a week and I loved it from day 1. It is literally minutes away from the beach so very conveniently located. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with a variety of seafood (fresh every day). We dined there several times and never got disappointed in the quality of the food. If you eat there, try the seafood platter that was my favorite on the menu. Next to the restaurant you find the swimming pool which is again a brilliant addition to the place as well as the jacuzzi inside the building. The management are extremely friendly, they made us feel home straight away which was nice. I also feel the need to mention, that they have a nice selection of wines to try!!!

Stayed here for six nights and would not hesitate to return. Staff are courteous and helpful and speak English well. The room was clean and there were no problems of any sort. Food at the restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced.
The hotel is on a few minutes walk from the main beach and the bars and restaurants are close but not noisy.
To swim at the best beach you should take a tuk tuk to Moorea. Tuk Tuk number 7 who operates across from "The Big Easy" just around the corner from the hotel, will take you there and pick you up at a given time for just $10. The trip is about 20 minutes.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with outside table and chairs
