I went for breakfast this time. Chicken Fried Steak was awesome along w/ the gravy. Suggest the restaurant update their prices on their website though. Great service and ambiance.

Not sure why this place is listed $$-$$$... for breakfast the prices are maybe a buck or two more per person than Denny's, and the food is outstanding, servings are generous, and the service is professional courteous, and prompt. I had an omelet that was the best I've had in years. Pancakes are huge and fluffy, and as a bonus, they're not sweet, which was perfect for us. On top of all that, view of the mountains is beautiful from the window tables. Definitely coming back here again!

This restaurant has always had a problem with flies, but today they were really really bad. There about three of them flying all over our lunch. My husband ended up killing three of them with his hat which was kind of funny but not. They really need to check all their screens for holes and close doors and put a fan in front of the front door to keep the flies from flying in when it’s open. They may be hatching eggs in some of the plants as well. It has been a problem for a few years but today it was really really bad so unsanitary!

It all started with a cocktail that was all alcohol instead of mixed with an iceberg in it instead of cubed. The appetizers of crab cakes were great!! Thank God, because my Shrimp Scampi was so spicy, I could not eat the pasta. I had to pick red pepper flakes off the shrimp and there was no garlic butter to be found. Just olive oil with red pepper flakes everywhere. My husband had the Trout Picatta with Wild Rice and mixed vegis, This dish had no seasoning. Not even a hint of salt or anything. The side salad was all spinach, no lettuce. The bread was tough. Our waiter, Sergio was very good. He could tell there was something wrong and tried to make it right with a 15% discount. that covered the cost of the cocktail. At a high end establishment such as this, you would think that flavor would be at the top of the list. They need to take a lesson from Convict Lake.
