Traditional Mexican food, that was fresh and well presented.
A friendly restaurant that was real good value for money.
This restaurant is certainly recommend.

I had the chicken flauta with rice and beans and it was fantastic. The other meal ordered was a taco, rice and beans and I was told that it was excellent too. Their iced tea was some of the best that we've ever had. If you get a chance to go there, I would very much recommend it.

We stopped by for a late lunch after a few hours panning for gold. A cute Victorian house converted into a restaurant, our dog got to sleep on the porch for once, while we filled our hungry bellies.

For a mountain town, the food here is well made although a bit bland, catering to a wider palette. We had the carnita taco(the few things on the menu that are more true to its Mexican flavor), chicken taco (just shredded boiled chicken, a bit bland). The Spanish rice & refried beans were moist & flavorful. The chips were fresh, in both the corn & flour variety... nice touch.

Service was attentive & prompt. Very professional It looks to me that the establishment has the ability to cook more authentic food but is holding back to appeal to the typical customer around here. Maybe offering specials of more authentic dishes every now & then would help them test the boundaries & elevate their repertoire.

A great little gem if you like authentic Mexican food. Not the imitation stuff. This is the real deal. And the prices are cheap. You don't often find Mexican food this good so far north of the border.

Great food, big portions. Nice stuff and quick service. Not too touristy, also natives were eating there. Service was absolutely fine, seems to be a family earned restaurant, atmosphere was super. A very nice place to have good for good prices!
