Stopped in over the weekend to have lunch with my grandparents. Yes, they are elderly, hard of hearing, and a little slow to order. But does that mean our server should go out of her way to demonstrate her annoyance with our table because of this? NO. Fortunately, my grandparents are kind and didn’t want to complain, but she was rude—eye rolling, sighing, and just generally letting us know she was inconvenienced by our presence. It was very upsetting and for that reason alone, I will not go back. The food was okay—they served primarily seafood, which none of us ordered, so maybe that would have been better. We all ordered sandwiches, which were generously portioned. I will say that the bread was so hard that the roof and bottom of my mouth were torn up after eating it. You have to buy the sides separately—so you get the $11 sandwich and then purchase the fries or fried pickles, etc. separately. There was one guy there who had dark hair and who was friendly, but our server was so rude that she ruined the experience and I have no desire to return to try anything else.
