“Excellent Stay with little kids, lovely hosts”
Reviewed 2 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The coach house has a direct access to a large, private garden with cherry trees which was great for everyone.
The hosts were very nice and helpful.

“Brilliant holiday for the whole family”
Reviewed 28 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Coach House. The beautiful gite was very spacious and comfortable. The garden was far larger than we were expecting and provided a great area for the children to play and explore. We also made use of the lovely pool and the table tennis (and the children loved playing in the big barn which was full of toys and play equipment).
The location of Le Petit Village is perfect - it is very close to the river and the canal. We often went cycling with the children along the beautiful stretch of the canal near the gite (we were able to hire the adult bikes from the local tourism office) and there was a great spot by the river for picnics.
Annabella and Nick were the perfect hosts - offering advice and assistance with their huge amount of knowledge of the area. We all had such fun and it really was a holiday to remember.

“Ideal base for family holiday. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommend.”
Reviewed 12 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Anna and Nick and their family looked after us beautifully. Nothing was too much to ask and we were made to feel at home. Both cottages and pool are clean and well looked after. Kitchens are supplied with everything you could possibly need. We didn't find ourselves stuck for anything. Wonderful surrounding countryside to explore and charming villages. Noyers is especially delightful. Highly recommend a holiday here.

“Charming Cottages for a Complicated Family Holiday”
Reviewed 12 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We were a 3-generation family travelling to France for a holiday together from several directions and this was the perfect place for everyone. We could drive or arrive by train or even bicycle and there were beautiful bedrooms, pretty gardens, a much-appreciated swimming pool and lots of toys for the little ones to play with. Nick and Anabelle gave us a wonderful welcome and couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay. We LOVED Annabelle's shop and tearoom and she had provided the cottages with absolutely everything you could wish for. The noisy generation was in one cottage while everyone else enjoyed the peace and quiet of the other one. The trip to Alesia was the highlight for all ages and later inspired many games of Romans versus Gauls.

“Friendly welcome in an area with lots to discover”

A great place to visit with a young family for half-term. Nick and Annabella go out of their way to welcome you and let you know all the activities in the area, and the whole family were very welcoming. Play barn is great to keep kids (and enthusiastic Dads) busy, there are opportunities to cycle, and would recommend the swimming pool in Montbard, Abbaye de Fontenay and a fascinating trip to Alesia. Unseasonably cold in May, but provided the opportunity to see more of the local area rather than lounging by the lovely pool - next time, maybe! Have already recommended to friends.
