Came here today with friends and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea. Service began with each of us choosing a flavor of tea (hot or iced) followed by a warm scone with clotted cream, jam and lemon curd. The lemon curd was especially good. Four kinds of small sandwiches came next on a tiered tray. At the end we got to choose from a couple of desserts. I chose the heart shaped chocolate cake on a bed of creamy custard. It was delicious.

The tea room is located in a converted house and has shabby chic style inside. Parking was easy to find on the shaded streets with no limits.

This was my second time to Two a Tea. My daughter was here for the holidays and I wanted to spend some girl time with her. So decided to take her to tea.

When we entered the facility it took forever for us to be acknowledged and seated. The service, and food presentation was very poorly done to put it mildly. The decor shows huge signs of wear and tear. Curtains hanging from windows needed ironing, china on our table was dirty and the Christmas decorations leave a lot to be desired. One server was dressed in shorts, knee high socks with a sweater and jacket tied around her waist....really???

My first visit here a few years ago was a wonderful experience but it looks like this tea house has lost it's passion. Will not return.

I've been to Two a Tea several times now and each time leave wondering why it has such a following among Glendorans (who are a loyal bunch to home-town businesses). The setting is a block off the main street of Glendora Avenue. It's up against a thrift store and across from some non-descript apartment buildings. There is street parking only.

Basically, this is a building that is fancied up inside but still has cinderblock walls visible, crowded spaces, and slightly overpriced food for the setting and the quality of service. There seem to always be too few guests for the staff and and uneven waits for service.

If the price were lower, the service were more attentive, or the setting a bit more polished, it could work. But, as it is, the combination is sub-par to other SoCal tea rooms. It seems to be the best Glendora offers, but not the best that is out there.

We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon enjoying tea with my girls. We love visiting various tea houses. Two a tea was a nice find on Groupon. The sandwiches were so flavorful the scones with clotted cream and jam lemon curd. The best tea was the Almond cream it was so rich just a treat. The desserts were decadent. We had a wonderful time at two a tea! The service was good and swift very attentive.

We come here for the candy cane tea and the lavender scones. It's pricey, but worth it. The scones are fresh baked in-house, by a lady from Glasgow who is as lovely as can be. The scones come with three dips, namely, the clotted cream, a strawberry jam, and a lemony marmalade. All of them are fantastic.

They also provide you with cucumber and cheese sandwiches, a roasted vegetable sandwich (my favorite!) and chicken salad sandwich.

They also have desserts like chocolate cake, and fruit cobbler. Both are amazing.

Go get the Queen's Tea. It's $26 per head, but it's a wonderful thing to experience with your girlfriends. Chuck the junk food and do something fancy for once! :)
