Went to this place for dinner on a Saturday after arriving in Oakland. No problem making last minute reservation. Read the reviews and thought we would give it a go. Parking lot was full when we arrived so we had to park in the adjacent paid parking--no problem. Thought it would be a nice serene place overlooking the water but instead there was a wedding going on--just our luck! It was not the restaurant's fault that the guests decided to karaoke and we were forced to appreciate the singing. To be honest, I did not mind it so much as I thought it was rather entertaining, plus the fact that it was a wedding reception--People should have a good time!
As for the food, we ordered BBQ pork, steamed crab, steamed egg white with seafood, half a chicken and some vegetables. Quality of food was good but not superb, but please DO NOT order the desserts. You would definitely regret it.
Service was just so-so.

This restaurant located next to seawater. It has good views of Golden Gate and Bay Bridges.Too bad the food was not on par with the location .The food is average and has lot of MSG. The service is so so. Good luck with parking on peak lunch hours.Guess there was no other dim sum restaurant close by.

We have been here many times for their dim sum lunch but have not had a chance to try their dinner. This time we entertained a couple of friends from Taiwan for dinner at this restaurant and were not disappointed. They serve a typical Chinese Cantonese style cuisine on a moderately upper scale level. We ordered prawns fried in salty duck egg yolk batter, sea cucumber egg plant clay pot, assorted mushrooms saute with asparagus, honey glazed baked sea bass and crispy skin roast chicken. All were delicious. The setting was good as you have a good view of the bay through their floor to ceiling windows. They also have a parking lot out front for convenience. The best of all, they were atypical of the normal Cantonese restaurants were the noise level is loud and unacceptable. Here, you can actually hear what people are saying to you across the table...

I never thought I could find real, delicious Cantonese cuisine her in Emeryville, such as Dim Sum. While I was walking the trail in this marina area, I saw their parking space was almost full, and most of these people who walked into the restaurant. Right away, I know it is worth trying. Chinese, in general, are pretty critical about their food. They have dim sum, and non-dim sum dishes. Pricing is a little stiff, but cooking method and quality of the food served is totally superior. 12-13 dishes costs us about $120 including tips for 3, with beautiful scenery if the water. I think this is quite a standard rate for the Bay area dining. For service, wish it could be better. You should check it out!.:)

Very popular dim sum restaurant especially on Sundays.. aim to get here by 11am to secure early seating at table and a nearby parking slot. Queues develop exponentially after 11.30am! Great choice on menu, with a photo menu for the un-initiated. Fab views of Bay towards San Francisco and nice walk round marina. Authentic food, totally delicious and lots of veggie options for those inclined. My favs were prawn and meat based! Family and kid friendly - super service and very efficient system. The newer part also has very efficient air conditioning so maybe bring a light sweater or cardie
