When I checked in, they told me I would have a room which had been refurbished. Opening the door to the room, was a big surprise, could this have been refurbished, must have been the wrong room. I asked two maids in the hallway, and they had no idea and looking out the window, I understood, - the room had a brand new AC unit. There was a truck outside loaded with used AC units. The room looked as if there had been some years since last remodelling.
That was all.
There is not much in this area, a few shops on the Sepulveda ave, so this hotel is good for sleeping not too far from LAX, thats all.

This is a nice hotel located in the middle of a business area. There are restaurant, shopping, beach within a mile or two. You receive chocolate chip cookies on arrival. The pool is a large lap pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is also a nice outdoor sitting area to relax. The jacuzzi was not in service, so if this is important to you, call first. There was ice cold fruit-infused water near the front desk. Self-parking was a short walk to a parking structure.

The hotel was chosen by a travel agent familiar with the area. We were very pleased with the location, the quiet neighborhood, the location in conjunction with LAX and the ease of getting around SoCal and the premises itself. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are well apportioned and well-maintained. The value for the area is without question. The only issue we had was the ease of parking. Valet parking is 18 per night. To park in the parking across the street is $15 a night. There is limited parking and if you're parking on the top floor of the garage and attempting to get yourself and your items down seven floors into the hotel, this is a very expensive proposition. But other than the parking, I would recommend this hotel.

Clean rooms, front desk staff so friendly and accommodating even at our late, late 2:00 am check in, priced right every time I stay, bed is so awesome comfy, no air traffic noise even though it 2 miles ($8.00 Uber ride!) from LAX. Will always stay there after LAX landing. Hilton Honors points, too!

Do not expect this from a Hilton property. First, we checked in and go to room and there are dirty pizza boxes outside of room. Reported it but still there next morning and even after housekeeping is cleaning rooms. No accountability for cleanliness.
Next night, there is a dog that keeps barking all night in the next door room. They should keep rooms with pets on a separate floor.
They charge $15 for parking and we had a dent in our car parking in their garage. So, anyone who is considering parking, please be aware and park away from all cars.
After all these issues, they would not even extend checkout by 1 hr which is customary for most hotels especially when you are a loyal Hilton Honors member. We stay 20 nights at Hilton properties a year. According to them, they were sold out and needed to clean the rooms - we know all about their cleanliness!
