The room was big and the mattress were good. Its needs some updates for the restroom, the room carpet and the kitchen appliances. The area around the building was dirty. The pool was small and too hot. There are two restaurants in the hotel area both were expensive. The restaurant that serves breakfast does it only till 9am.
If you want internet connection you have to pay 10 dollars per day for only 2 appliances.

I was a bit spectical about staying here because of some bad reviews, however I would definitely stay again. The lodge is clean and cozy. They have everything you need from a convenient store, restaurant, a pizza joint, (I recommend the pizza place) decent wifi ($10 more per night) friendly staff and a great location. The room itself was cozy with the fire place and balcony. The balcony had a beautiful view of the river and mountains to the left. It was amazing to wake up to that in the morning. The kitchenettes are very convenient but the stoves are electric so they take a while to make anything. The room was clean and housekeeping was great. The only thing I recommend to management is to get new bed comforters. The ones in our room were very old and out dated. The location is prime at this hotel. It is probably the best value you are going to get close to Yosemite. It is about a 20 minute drive to most of the popular places. I would recommend this property for any one looking for convenience and good value. I would stay again.

Room Tip: A room with a river view, first floor for a larger patio.

This was a thoroughly adequate place to sleep, but not much more. The hotel staff were entirely indifferent about their jobs, didn't know the answer to any questions, and the phone often rang for minutes on end before someone answers. The beds are very hard, uncomfortable and squeaky. The blankets were dirty. The room did come with a fridge, full set of dishes, a stove, and a sink, which was unexpected and helpful. The restaurant's breakfast is not included and closes at 9am. A holiday destination's restaurant closing at 9am is baffling to me. The hotel does not include wifi. Don't stay on a bottom floor room as every step of the people above you echoes loud and clear.

Room Tip: Try not to get a bottom floor as you'll hear every move of the people above you.

Location was perfect but there is a big business in the hotel. Restaurants are expensive, wifi is not free (10$ 24h), and the pool was old and dirty. However the room was big and warm, so lights and shadows for this lodge.

The hotel is only about 45mins away from the Yosemite Visitor Center. The YARTS bus stops right in front. I was booked at the Manzanita Building and it was still peaceful and quiet even if it's by the road. The beds and pillows are comfy and clean. The bathroom is huge and very clean. You can bring groceries and cook in the room. Check out the photos. This is the best value for money!
