Have been to Skiathos numerous times and must confess must have walked by Porta Rosa countless times but we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. It was a warm evening so decided just a main meal. Set just off the main road between bus stops 9 and 10 the taverna was initially quiet when we arrived but gradually filled up during our stay. My wife chose fillet steak with pepper sauce, dauphonise potatoes and a selection of vegetables. I decided on pork loin with caramalised apple, wild rice and potato wedges. The service was excellent and the food was faultless. My wife described the steak as the best she had ever tasted. It was so good that we returned on our last night and unsurprisingly we had the same!!. First night was 50e second time 52E with varying drinks. Very friendly owner who we had a pleasant chat with. 2 excellent waitresses who were polite pleasant and effecient
