Adega Lima is a small private vacation home and was perfect for our two-night stay while visiting and seeing Pico. The photos are representative and we were pleased to have no disappointments!
Our host, Ana, met us in Sao Roque, escorted us to Adega Lima in Prainha de Baixo, and showed us everything before leaving us. A nice welcome basket introduced us to the products of the island and was very nice.
The house is very well equipped, and it was especially nice to have a washer to do our laundry. Electric heat was introduced last year, so you will not be chilly if it is colder outside, as it can be in the off-season We were there in Mid-April).
Prainha de Baixo is a local, out of the way, hamlet...not a tourist town so it is a great place for getting local culture.
Adega Lima is right on the water and you will love it! We did! Thank you, Ana and Hugo!
A wow indeed for this ocean view ciliff side cottage. It was a winter stay for me and my husband but the location is just idyllic if not romantic. Half hour drive from Pico airport. The black & white patches style of the cottage and the garden bring you to the way of the Azoreans. A covered drive way serves as a terrace overlooking the ocean views. The stone black pebless plotted the garden with possibillities for barbecueing and sunbathing within your yard. The garden set are made of stones. A simple cottage of a one bedroom with a double bed. Living room with a small tv , one couch and the fancy-like fisher's lamps hung okay on its place. A small heater may not be enough to warm the space but we have no problem with it. There is a dining set and a kitchen with all the basic modern appliances. Coffee set maker, toaster, fridge, 2 electric burners ; magnetron; washing machine. Kitchen utensils are enough. Kitchen towels and bath towels are provided. Bathroom is clean with a hot water. This cottage sets not far from a local restaurant , 2 bars café and a 15 minute walk to the natural swimming pool. The local church stands majestic before the mountains. The waves symphony will serenade you with a quiet, clean , serene village. Yes, this is truly a hideaway holiday adrress to keep especially on summer or fine weather time !

A well-appointed holiday rental along the coast from San Rogue in a quiet village with a bar, small supermarket and pizzeria. The house is next to the sea and you can walk in both directions along the coast to some interesting spots. Of course you need a car to stay here. The only downside with the lack is the lack of light. Presumably it was built to ensure cool, conditions in the summer months. in November it felt quite chilly. Other than that, a lovely place run by very efficient owners.
