A surprise for mother's day more than delivered. Spacious comfortable rooms, stunning views, very good dinner menu and very swedish lunch and breakfast. Spa pools great ... esp infinity pool looking out across a spectacular view ... complete with mirror water ... rolling mist ... sun. Staff all very accommodating and good. Would come back and will recommend highly. Love to see the place in the snow.

Perfect hotel for "everything" business, relax, gatherings etc etc .
A very extra plus is that dogs are allowed! Positive and very service-minded personell.
Me and my dog stayed in a beautiful , very clean and perfect apartment. Delicious and very tasteful breakfasts , lunch buffés and dinner menues. Outstanding surroundings!
They have thought of that "little extra " everywhere :) I will come back here as soon as i have possibility. Maybe have an exclusive dog-weekend with friends in the near future?

Room Tip: Perfect stay for everyone who likes som little luxury, tidyness. Quite and relaxing.

We stayed the weekend for a friends wedding which was also in the hotel. Not only is the landscape surrounding the resort breathtaking but the food, accommodation and staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend this venue and will be going back.

The good: nice breakfast buffé. Gorgeous view from the restaurant!

The bad... the walkways and the rooms!
Had to choose between wading through deep water puddles or breaking something on ice covered walkways from the parking lot to the hotel. Totally unacceptable!
The room was located next to the railway. It has heavy traffic (timber trains etc) and it is LOUD. Did not sleep. Room standard is about same as for a simple cabin but for 4x the money.

This place is all about location!

Orbaden is a great little place to experience Sweden. Both summer and winter. The nature is unspoilt and the water is crystal clear.

The food is of high standard. Breakfast genuine Swedish of local produce. Staff is proffersional and Friendly.

Winter:
Experience horse drawn sledge, outdoor swimming in jacuzzi at -5 and look at tge stars. The indoor Spa is small but nice. You can ring for drinks service. They have imported water from Budapest in the little pool.

Good access to downhill skiing at Jarvso. Rent equipment for 2 adults and a child over 2 days for £110. ( High standard equipment )

Don't expect Alpine size runs but perfect for a family, or to learn to ski.

Summer :
Enjoy the forest, barbecue or swim in pristine waters. Hike up the mountain at Jarvso. Canoe rental is available.

We will visit again.
