We stayed in the dog friendly "annex" which is across Junipero. Very charming attached "cottages" with separate bedroom,Jacuzzi tub area off the kitchenette, with wood burning fireplace. Far enough from downtown to be quiet, close enough to walk. The only negative is that the cottages were built around the '70s and don't have very good soundproofing, from the outside. There are three cottages on each side of a central walkway so you can hear your neighbors if they are talking outside. Inside it was not very noticeable.
Anyone visiting the Central California Coast should be aware that the weather is traditionally temperate so none of the places, including homes, have A/C. With Climate Change things have gotten warmer there as of late. The cottages do have windows on both sides so there is good ventilation. It was not too warm when we were there but the temperature is something to consider.
They leave a Breakfast basket on the doorstep every morning. Different each day, Muffins, Croissants, and Danish alternated as did different fruits, Oranges and Apples. Orange juice daily and hard-boiled eggs every other day with dry cereal . They provided a hearty chunk of cantaloupe but it was hard and flavorless, not ripe enough. Keurig Coffeemaker is provided. Mini-fridge could be larger but there was not enough space as the kitchenette was configured.
We would definitely stay there again.More
