We are loyal Starwood customers and recognize that the Sheraton brand is perhaps the most inconsistent under the Starwood umbrella... This is perhaps the nicest Sheraton at which we've stayed.

All staff gave the impression that they were extremely well-trained in the art of hospitality. We wanted for nothing.

The room was very nice and spacious and the beds very comfortable. Typical Starwood there.

The view of the courtyard was nothing to write home about, and I thought to reduce this to a four star reviews because of the lack of anything spectacular there... however, since it's a Sheraton and not a Westin or St. Regis, I decided to keep the five stars.

The proximity to Legoland is simply great for families, as was the buy one, get one child free voucher they gave us upon arrival. Legoland is super fun and great especially for young kids.

Breakfast was delicious and healthy with locally sourced ingredients. As a Platinum member we got $30 off our breakfast tab which meant we ate there every morning.

My biggest complaint was the the elevator was super slow. What's up with that? But, at three stories it wasn't a big deal.

We will definitely be back.

We just stayed at this hotel and whatever it involved customer service it was terrible
From honoring special bed requests to never returning a lost item which was lost when we had to move from our first room
We called several times but never returned a call and now they claim my lost item is gone
What the hell is this hotel or so called resort
Dirty pool
No jacuzzi just little small hot tub with some awful smell
Be aware of this resort
There are much better ones not to far
Also wherever you move in the resort is Gana cost you another buck

There is nothing more disheartening than to hear we failed a guest and their experience during a stay.

First and foremost, our front desk staff takes every measure possible to ensure every guest request is honored to the best of their ability. If we failed to honor your special bed request, then I can assure you it was truly beyond their physical control since we were at high occupancy during the time of your stay. As to the rest of your points, I am personally looking into each one of them, and can again assure you, this is outside the normal review for us - and an extremely concerning matter. If you would like to call me personally to discuss your lost item, I would really welcome the chance to talk to you about this, as well as the rest of your review. A large resort with nicely appointed rooms where you can park underneath and take the elevator to your floor. The bar was friendly and they have a shuttle service to the village where you can walk around and choose a restaurant. They have a pool and resort facilities and are next to a golf course and Lego Land, so great for families..... I'll stay here again next time I'm in town.

Clean comfortable room in a very attractive property. Staff is attentive and helpful. Request a room close to the check in area or you may have a long outside walk to your room located in a separate building. The hotel is a 45 min drive from San Diego airport.

Thank you for the review and yes, about a 45 min (or less, depending on who's at the wheel) drive from the San Diego airport... and only 5 mins. to BEACH, FUN, FOOD, ATTRACTIONS, HIKING, VIEWS, SHOPPING, AND several major business parks for that on the go business traveler! And best of all..... NO AIRPLANE NOISE! :)

This hotel is right next to Legoland. With that being said, this hotel is wonderful for families. The rooms are big and clean. The underground parking area is small and may have to park farther from your room. The people were very nice and accommodating. The pool are is large and very nice. If you want a romantic getaway, try another hotel. There are a lot of children and the noise that comes with them.

Thank you for your review of our resort. We truly appreciate and value each and every guest feedback!

As you can imagine, being a family friendly resort right next to LEGOLAND with our very own private entrance (no line waiting required here!) we certainly attract many families looking to come in and make those wonderful memories at both our resort, and our neighboring theme park. Typically coming in for Spring break, high summer months and through our winter holidays (when the resort REALLY comes alive bursting with magical twinkling lights adorning our resort in a wonderful glowing splendor)!
However..., we are also a high sought after wedding destination resort - catering to those would-be secluded honeymooners, celebratory anniversarian's, and very regular business travelers' resort - all who seek a quite and more relaxing vibe (which we strive to accommodate equally as well).

We do hope the next time your travels bring you to Carlsbad, you will find our romantic, tranquil charm just as alluring as so many have come to do! (I highly recommend our couples massage; it's the main ingredient for a romantic getaway success!) ;)
