Very disappointed. Checked in on Saturday to be told that they have no housekeeping on Sunday. Ok. Monday comes around and we come home past 6pm to find out that our room isn't cleaned or towel replenished no note nothing. Go to the front desk and act surprised and said manager by the name of Sean will call me tomorrow. Still waiting for the towels so I can give my toddlers a bath. This is absolutely unacceptable. Travelers be aware of how travelers are treated. So you get to stay but you do your own cleaning and figure out a way to take your trash out as well

Maybe one of the nicest resort hotels I've ever stayed.

We came here on off a website and we were blown away! The rooms are great.

The pool has the best music you feel like a Karsahaian at this hotel.

Do NOT pass this hotel without staying...you will not regret it!

We booked this resort based on the many positive reviews of other families here on TripAdvisor and the resort's own website. We were traveling as a family of 4 and booked the Legoland package with a couple extra nights to explore the beaches and other things. Check-in was rocky. When we arrived at 4:57PM, we were told that our villa room wasn't ready yet. Upon asking for an approximate time when it would be ready, it magically showed as "ready" in the system. The suite was average. There was a solid layer of dust on the baseboards and the door panels in the bathroom, but it felt otherwise clean, but a little dated. The kitchen was well-stocked except for no dish soap.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite so we planned to have the children sleep on the sofa bed. After dinner, as we prepared the bed, we discovered that there were no blankets for the bed, and only 1 pillow. We called the front desk and were told they "had an extremely high volume of calls, but they would make sure we got our pillows eventually." That call was around 7PM. The pillows arrived at our room around 9:45PM.

Another day, we went down to the pool area, but the activity center had no towels out and the center was not staffed at the time. No problem, we went to the front desk to ask for pool towels. The desk attendant told us that housekeeping was "working on it" but she had no ETA on when the towels would be available. After asking her to see if she could get an ETA or otherwise solve the problem for us, and getting nowhere, I then requested the manager. He was courteous and apologetic, but it was clear that housekeeping was not keeping up with the demand at the resort (even though the pool use wasn't crazy given that temps were only in the upper 60s, low 70s). He did provide us with breakfast vouchers and gave us room towels to use at the pool.

Overall, this was an average resort with average amenities considering the price and comparable properties in the area. They could have made up for this with great customer service, but that was missing on our trip.

First I want to say Tyler at the Front Desk was professional, efficient and incredibly helpful.
We are staying the very busy week of Easter and the hotel appears to be at capacity. Tyler was able to accommodate our large party and facilitate with management a way for us all to not have to change room mid-stay.
Also, Its proximity near LegoLand is perfect. Its more cost effective and away from the crazy-busy-hub of millions of kids and provides a shuttle to and from Lego Land as well as ANYWHERE within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. The kids pool and and water play section is VERY family friendly and the rooms themselves accommodate families really well- including shared grills outside. Its a win-win for familes, for sure.

Room tip: 3 bedroom rooms are VERY spacious but fyi- no washers in the room. there are community laundry facilities.

We really enjoyed our stay. The shuttle service was also very convenient and awesome. The driver Steve was the best and very helpful! Easy access to San Diego via the Coaster station. Highly recommended!
