Capitola is such a sweet small beach town and Zeldas keeps a low key funky beach vibe. They have outdoor seating right on the sand with heaters. The seagulls love the place and are probably the nemesis of management and many guests as the birds swoop down onto the tables to grab the food. I found it fun to watch them. The food is fine and priced fairly. The clam chowder in a sour dough bowl hit the spot, although it had more potatoes than clams. Friends liked the grilled shrimp and cheese sandwich and the burger. Salads were large. This isn’t a gourmet restaurant but it is a fun experience and I would definitely return. The view is fabulous and the beach is right here.

We opted for Zelda's for our sundowner drinks and were allowed to sit on the main restaurant terrace for a more impressive viewpoint. It was a fresh evening, so no other diners were there. The Margharita's were divine and reasonably priced, so enjoyed a few! People watching was joynfor this vantage point, but the sundown was even kore spectacular. The restaurant was having a Lobster Evening, so was surprised how full it was when we ventured inside, a great place on many levels. Great friendly staff too.

Food and drinks average. You come for the view and locale. The fries, calamari and fish tacos were pretty good.
It’s a Long time FAVORITE of ours.

Stopped in with friends for Bloody Marys and were delighted with their willingness to prep them from no spice to max spice! Very tasty indeed!

Breakfast with family was a disappointment. Slow and inefficient service with too many people walking up and down without purpose, chef (?) coming out of kitchen area in dirty T-shirt and scratching his head, bad and luke warm coffee, very mediocre food, men's restroom dirty, dilapidated and without toilet paper apparently for some time already as toilet covers had been used as toilet paper
