“meat restaurant at riding ranch”

In the midst of Galilee nature is this riding ranch of Avni family, where we have been visiting since 1969, when it was just at the beginning.
The restaurant was good then and it still keeps its level nowadays.
We had chicken on rice and lentils. It was well spiced and really soorelft.
Unfortunately the smoked forel fish of Yehuda Avni was not on menu any more.

This place is highly recommended and I could not find why.
We were three friends. The decor of the place does not create any intimacy. There was nothing that we ate that justified the name of a shef restaurant. The dark bread that you have to pay for was very ordinary. We had fish with mashed potatoes. Fish was OK mashed potatoes like in kibbutz dining room. Pasta was unevenly warm. Mushroom soup with eggplants was more strange than tasty. Pavlova with strawberries was tasty. Service was very slow. Three of us payed 600 IS.
