It’s an old 8th century lhakhang situated in Paro. There is a painting on the wall that is well preserved . There is an orange tree present in the courtyard , which bears fruits in all the seasons. It was built by the emperor of Tibet . There are statues of Buddhist gods and a statue of the future Buddha dating back to the 8th century.I highly recommend this to all tourists of the land of the thunder dragon that is Bhutan.

This temple was built in the seventh century. It is the oldest Buddhist temple in Bhutan. In fact, it predates Buddhism. In the temple I had the opportunity to be blessed by a monk.

Worth a short stop (30 min) to see the oldest Buddhist temple in Bhutan. Built in the 7th Century, the temple isn't big but has some nice grounds and prayer wheels - very quiet and peaceful.
