Saturday 1/20 at approx. 2PM, the young lady at the reception desk, Val, was very rude to my wife when my wife went in to request a wine opener and had forgotten our room number. Val rolled her eyes at my wife when my wife requested she look her up by her name. My wife then requested a different person, preferably a manager help her. The manager (older woman working w/ Val) helped my wife with the wine opener and a small purchase. The manager never apologized or acknowledged the bad behavior.

The manager then proceeded to keep my wife's credit card on file (without her permission). The entire room charge was then charged to my wife at checkout without her authorization. This was a problem because my wife never authorized the manager to keep her personal credit card on file nor authorized the charge to her card. The credit to my wifes card has yet to be complete. This entire experience was an issue as this entire trip was a gift from me to my wife and she ended up being charged for it.

Keith K, we are sincerely sorry about our missteps. Staff training is ongoing, and we will use your observations as valuable information with which to impress upon our employees the necessity of a welcoming and courteous attitude at all times. When we run a credit card for a guest purchase, the card stays on file in the guest's reservation. That said, we should (and usually do) ask each guest at checkout which card they would like to use for room--and other--charges. A new employee checked you out and made the mistake of charging the most recent card used on your folio without confirming first. Please accept our apology for this human error (which was subsequently corrected). We hope you enjoyed the other facets of your stay and that you will return again the next time you are visiting our area.

The Cambria Pines package is a Wonderful find. Not only is it comfortable and beautiful, but the food that they serve is delicious and plentiful. Then when you add the coupons for local attractions, we have not found a more pleasurable, value packed get away anywhere. There is so much to do along the coast that though we live close by, we found new things to explore. Definitely worth going!

The accommodations are fantastic. We had a beautiful fireplace room. The grounds are beautiful. The staff are so friendly. Breakfast in the morning is an added plus. It is conveniently located. We enjoyed the local wine tasting and shops. Don’t forget to visit Red Moose Cookies. Yum!!!

The beauty of this tucked away gem on acres and acres of land is breath taking. There are so many gardens to visit on premise. The dining rooms are very nicely appointed. The breakfasts that are given every morning will delight you. The dinner menu is very comprehensive and food is delicious. The cabin is very comfortable and inviting. This is a place not to be missed.

This is a really nice place based on location, staff, food, gardens and general amenities. Cambria is a perfect place to play, especially for people who like art and the ocean. Would do this again, it was fun.
