The hotel is clean, quite and has a lovely location. I had stayed there before and booked another visit. Checked in on Saturday, March 31 for a 1 night stay. Clerk took 20 to 30 minutes to complete check in process, I had a reservation. We got into our room and went for dinner. After dinner we went back to room and left again for an event at Channel Island University. Upon our return, we discovered that the key we had was not programed correctly. We could not get into our room. We called "Emergency number"
listed on hotel site, office door and key card envelope. Got no answer. I called several times. No answer and no reply to message. I has hotel key they'd provided. I followed their instructions and GOT NO REPLY OR HELP. I had to drive home. Office supposedly opens at 8:00 AM. NOBODY CALLED me the following morning. I drove back and asked why? Their reply "I am very sorry. I am happy to refund the cost of your room." Be careful.. Check both your hotel keys!!!!More
