Very friendly wait staff, everyone thanked us for coming. Good breakfast, priced well. Had to wait a little bit but it's a small place. Make sure you sign in on the clipboard hanging by the door.

It seems like this little shop is always open! It also seems like they make donuts all day and they are made on the premises. So most of the time the donuts are of the freshest quality. The shop is located right on the railroad tracks and across the street from the cute Burlingame Train Station and also across from the beginning of Burlingame Avenue, or as we call it the AVE. There is parking right outside the door, but it is metered so have a care to drop in a quarter, even if you are a gonna grab your donut and go! The MeterMeanies are fast!
These are donuts worth eating! Not sure how they make them taste so good, but probably because they are so fresh! There is a self serve coffee bar, with a variety of coffees in the morning. As the day wears down the coffees choices diminish but that is so you never get an old pot of coffee, which I appreciate, nothing fancy, no caps or lattes. There is also a self serve cooler with a generous supply of juices, teas, waters, whatever drink you may want. Prices are very reasonable. There are several booths inside and picnic tables outside. Between the trains and the busy street it is not really a calm or quiet place to linger. But it is a great place to grab a donut worth eating an a cuppa joe to go, or the chat with the locals who come in for the same. Great place to start your trek of Burlingame sites, The famous PEZ Museum is steps away as is the Ave and all its delights. This is my go-to place if I have to bring a snack to school, office or some event. YUM.

Scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, potatoes and toast with coffee in the old style white heavy "diner" mugs for around $10. Food was well prepared and served quickly which is for me is a very important breakfast requirement. The menu has enough choices to put someone with ADHD into a tizzy but if you can't find something you want it won't be for a lack of trying on their part. One last item, don't forget to bring Quarters to feed the parking meter.

Great place for fresh donuts. I always stop by when I am in the area. Krispy Creme is great, but Royal Donuts can compete them on many levels. Give it a try.
