We live locally and walk the 4.5 klm butterfly walk every day. The area is abundant with wildlife and the landscape is beautiful. Not to mention the locals that will greet you with a very cheery hello on Meeting. Also don't forget the different seasons it is constantly changing.
The only negative I can mention is you need to be VERY AWARE of the cyclists that ignore the signage on the Weir Foot Bridge and within the National Park travelling at speed and in large groups on both sides of the path without ring a bell as a warning.
