Had a lovely stay here in cissbury cottage. We lucked-out with the weather and it was a real treat to show the kids what the stars should look like away from city lights. Despite being a working farm it’s incredibly peaceful, and we didn’t even mind the rooster! Kids loved waking up to the horses and feeding the pigs an odd apple or two. The hosts are lovely and couldn’t have done more to make our stay more pleasant, even spending an evening assembling a barbecue for us (thank you it was appreciated!). Made for a perfect base for exploring the South Downs and was always lovely to come back to. They’ve done a fab job on the fit & fittings of these cottages and I couldn’t recommend more for a comfortable and peaceful stay.

We stayed in Ash Cottage and it truly was a home from home. Very thoughtfully designed with a well equipped kitchen and tastefully furnished, the accommodation is extremely comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners - Emma and Rob; I'm sure they'd be happy to rectify any problems or provide anything you feel is missing swiftly and efficiently.
The children in our group loved the space to run around and enjoyed looking at the farm animals. The ambiance is lovely as there are wonderful views during the day and tranquility at night. The properties are in an excellent location for visiting the surrounding area and it is easy to connect with road links.

We had a fabulous few days stay at Cissbury Cottage, Gallops Farm.
The accommodation was lovely. Fresh, modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean, in a character farm conversion.
Ideal location near landmarks to visit and fantastic Sussex beaches.
We visited West Wittering, Lancing and Little Hampton beaches. All had individual charm, and were great for swimming, sandcastles and crabbing.
Gallops Farm is a real farm, pigs, cows, chickens and horses on your doorstep. Great for both families and couples. Emma and Robert have furnished the cottages really well, so it makes for an easy family holiday. They also make you feel so welcome and relaxed, we look forward to a return visit soon.
1 review The owners provided the perfect balance of help when needed and the rest of the time left us to our own devices. Wonderful setting, location and close enough to the village to reach on bikes quickly. Thanks for arranging great weather too!
