Haven’t been to Big Bear in almost 10 years and so missed coming here for dinner (only serve dinner). Love their lobster tail dinner. Comes with trip to salad bar and another side. Bake potato my favorite.. dark inside and nice for romantic evening with good food. Full bar.

We had great service, charming surroundings, pretty good food and OK value. Then the bill came. My husband glanced over it to check that it was all correct and pointed out a small inconsistency. The waiter, who had seemed very good until then, made a big deal about the mistake. If he had just apologised and got on with it, we would have thought nothing of it. Instead he carried on so much that it appeared the additional item was intentional and he was trying to come up with excuses for it. He then stayed in the kitchen and did not acknowledge the bill payment or us leaving. It made us feel awkward and sort of ruined our evening.

Average is the word for this restaurant. The food is o.k. but way too expensive. The atmosphere is kind of old and doesn't seem well kept up. The worst thing was that they had no outside lighting and no paved parking lot. We won't be back.

Very warm and cozy feel, unique old building with lots of history. Service was very good.
Nice salad bar and soup included with your meal. Artichoke appetizer was delicious. Prime Rib was excellent along with the Spinach Tortellini. Definitely worth another trip.

Our go to spot in Big Bear. The bartender here is amazing. I don't know how long she has worked here but she has wonderful stories and makes a great drink.
