This is the place to enjoy a visit to Hollywood, great location for tourists. We stopped for a couple of days and enjoyed all the sights. It's well located near Rodeo Dve, Sunset Blvd and an easy stroll to the large Westfield mall just down the road. Check in and staff were super and breakfast by the pool a delight. Nice room and decor and we looked out on green trees and a quiet road at the rear of hotel. There is a Budget rental car place on the next corner right opposite Starbucks, who could ask for more!

Overall a good hotel. Decent service.
Check in simple. Lovely lobby. Big spacious hotel.
Rooms nice and big. Balconies great for sun And smoking. Mini bar expensive and no in room tea/coffee facilities.
Breakfast was ok - pricey for what it is.
Pool area-nice pool but not in the sun for most of the day; too cold in December for morning/evening swim.
Location ok to walk to downtown beverley hills.
Stayed on christmas - not much going on.
Overall a decent hotel with average facilities. Probably better for an older crowd.

I really liked this Hotel. It is a genuine four star, international style hotel in a great location. At one end of the Golden triangle of Beverly Hills; Rodeo drive, and the surrounding shops and restaurants, is easily walkable (flat roads) from the hotel and there is a complimentary Mercedes courtesy car to ferry hotel guests around the area, it is first come first served and therefore you could wait up to 20 minutes or so. Of course, like us, you would probably end up tipping the driver more than the cost of the journey by cab.

Great things. I LOVE the friendly door, restaurant, bar, café, pool and maid service staff. Really competent service and always with a smile even at 6 am. People make places. The desk staff were less friendly but fairly efficient. I was really unhappy with the El Dorado stars homes tour recommendation of the concierge (you can’t win them all) – my advice would be to go with one of the open tour buses, not a mini-van and with a different company. Generally however the various concierges were good and helpful.

The pool is great and a real suntrap even in December with people bathing and some tanning! (I imagine that in summer the pool side rooms (cabana rooms) are loud) there is a large white wall onto which I am told they project films. There is a functional gym room which seemed clean and well looked after, a small Trader Vics (bar) together with its terrace (with night warmers).

Good. The room, large with super high ceilings and very light, BOSE sound system, flat screen TV, OKish bathroom (in fact the bathroom REALLY needs a refit at this level of hotel) with the usual products. Pleasant view over the Oasis to the hills beyond. Our room had no balcony but a number do. If I had a choice I would say get a high floor room overlooking the pool. Prices, it may be that I spend a little too much time in hotels but we were all pleasantly surprised by the bar and restaurant prices, still hotel prices but really quite reasonable and definitely good for this grade of hotel and location.

Bad. The caged birds – why? Birds should not be caged. Especially in cages that small. What on earth is that about?

Really though I have very little bad to say about this place - I would definitely stay again and my standards are high.

Room Tip: high floor over pool

I'm sure you will be very happy to stay at the Beverly Hilton upon your visit to LA and Beverly Hills. The hotel is a nice attraction itself with a lot of history, glam and action. During our stay the was a movie shoot going on so the entrance was blocked, I can't imagine something better to happen in this area. Several shops, bars and restaurant in the hotel. Just a few minutes walking to the Rodeo Drive. All over the hotel there are so much things going on and so interesting people to look at :)

Pool area was nice, deliciuos Thai Food and Californian in the restaurant where you can sit outside. One night there was a movie night, where you can relax by the pool in same time you watch a great movie.

The room isn't the largest one I stayed in (Deluxe with balcony), but very pleasant decorated, well maintained and with a large balcony. I could prefer to also have a coffee and tea making facility, but it wasn't ravage for our stay. Bathroom with L'Occitane amenities and a TV. Concierge service, front desk, room service, houskeeping and restaurant - all staff members I interacted with was very polite and service minded.

We had a rented car by Hertz we returned at the Regency Plaza next to, even if the Hyatt Regency looked nice to, the first thing they mentioned upon our car return that they were impressed that we should stay at the Beverly Hilton (the same as Barack Obama stays in upon his visits to LA). By the way, this Hertz location offer free shuttle from the location to the Beverly Hilton.

The Beverly Hilton is not the most expensive hotel in Beverly Hills, and I'm sure you get a good experience at other places, but if you want a good first class hotel witouth the place beeing to snobby or to much of everything this is the place. I will not stay at any other hotels in LA ever.

Room Tip: Go for a room with a balcony

stayed here with my young family for four nights over christmas (including xmas day) had a junior suite which was very nice, the bathroom in particular was exceptional and the king bed was very comfortable. also had a good view with the hollywood sign in the distance.
The room was very clean and very new and the hotel itself is very nicely decorated, some people have commented that from the outside the hotel looks dated but to me thats part of its appeal in that it has that retro look and feel. lots of photos of famous residents etc.. my only criticism is that the pull out sofa bed in our junior suite was not comfortable, I did raise this at check out but just got a "oh well" reaction which is slightly dissapointing, however this isnt enough to warrant a bad rating as overall the staff were very pleasant, especially the staff in the restaurant at breakfast.... PS hilton I am coming back to stay for two nights so if you want to make a small gesture for the lumpy sofa bed feel free!!

Room Tip: ask for a room with a balcony if possible
