This fast-casual noodle place is a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. You get to pick your noodle, sauce, and protein, and it's all served in generous portions. I'm a fan!

This was a different food place where you can get Thai food, for those who don't like lot of sweet sauce taste. I ordered Veg Thai with brown rice and it was simple and good food. I was fortunate to get here without any queue, but I heard generally this place would have long queues.

After one visit this quickly became my favorite place for noodles in Berkeley and I've returned again since then.

The formula is simple - you build your own dish choosing the noodle or rice, the sauce or flavor, and then the meat. It is so simple and allows for many combinations but without the annoyance of a complicated menu.

It takes no time at all to navigate it, and you know exactly what you're gonna get. Meal comes with plenty of vegetables in the dish, too.

I ordered a flat rice noodle with Malay (peanut) sauce with pork. I had a side order of fried octopus which was nice, but a little too much batter for my liking. No matter - stick with the noodles (or rice) and, if you like Chinese food, you'll definitely find something to suit your palette.

The service is very quick - they serve you, you take your paddle with the number on it, and someone brings it out a few mins later.

There is fresh, cold water on the side so you help yourself. When you're done, clear your own dishes away so the next person can sit down.

I really enjoyed the dishes in this restaurant. If you want a fast and good lunch this is a good choiche! It is also possible the "to go " option.
