“A useful break, if expensive”

Like most, we stopped here to have a break during a long road trip. Yes, it has bathrooms (one, so be prepared for a wait), a cafe, small shop selling produce and a near by fuel station, but there is also a farm and kids area to the side. Beware the price. For a quick pit stop it cost us $33 entree. Whilst it was great for my daugher to burn off some of her excess energy, I did feel a little conned.
The area is pretty dated, a little shabby, and if like us you visit during the period between Christmas and new year, it looks a little abandoned and unsure if it is celebrating thanks giving, Halloween or christmas.
There is a small petty zoo, some pretty rural and basic attempts at play areas, including a slide with cardboard boxes, and some hoops to throw. The success was the inflatable cushion - but still not sure it justified the price.

Here you can reload your stomach and full fill the gas tank. Besides, when using the gas station to fill up the tank they give you some samples of fruits or a piece of pie. We found some nice dried fruits, a bot sugared but good.

Nothing better than eating a mandarin that you pulled off the tree yourself. The workers in the shop were friendly as well

Sometimes their quickly prepared snacks are better than other times. Perhaps you must make cerertain they are freshly prepared when ordering!

We took three generations of our family to Murray Family Farms at the beginning of their Christmas events. The kids loved the face painting, Santa, roasting marshmellows over the fire, feeding the goats, the slides, bounce area, kids tractor ride and the ride on the farm wagon to pick fruit and avacados. We also enjoyed lunch. The chicken pot pie and the pies are awesome. We'd highly recommend Murray Family Farms for a fun family day.
