A special house which has been furnished with great care and where you could spend all day looking out at the views from the window. Great for wildlife spotting both from the house and around Lochinver and area. Well located for walking and eating out options in the village. Cosy if weather inclement with real fire in lounge. Great place.
Deceptively room and extremely well appointed. Views to die for with seals and otters on tap. Easy walking distance to excellent eateries. Couldn't better it.
2 Pottery House is spacious, beautifully decorated and is well equipped with everything you could wish for - the attractive plates, mugs and bowls are all made by Highland Stoneware who own the property. There is also a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, comfortable beds, television, etc. The location is ideal, a short walk from the centre of Lochinver which, for a small place, has a surprising number of high quality restaurants such as the Riverside Bistro, Caberfeigh and the recently opened Peets along at the harbour.
There is plenty of hill-walking nearby to suit all abilities, and the ever changing views of Suilven from the cosy living room are amazing. There are also lovely beaches nearby such as Achmelvich, which is a short drive or a pleasant 5 km walk.
We will definitely be back!
