A lovely, well equipped, comfortable and dog friendly cottage with an enclosed garden. The bottle of wine and tin of biscuits are a nice touch. There are lots of nice places to visit - Portaferry, Castle Ward (Winterfell in Game of Thrones) Mount Stewart, the Ulster folk museum and lots of fabulous beaches where you can walk the dogs. We had our shopping delivered by ASDA. The owner is friendly and helpful but not intrusive. We loved it and I'm sure we'll be back.

“Perfect cottage with home comforts”
Reviewed 13 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We enjoyed a lovely week in this wonderfully kitted our cottage which was like home from home. Suited all our needs with young children to keep entertained on a wet day and handy to all we wanted to do on the Ards including visiting family.
Elaine and family have done a wonderful job and we will definitely be back again.

“Lovely welcoming home from home!”
Reviewed 5 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

I booked this as a gift for my daughter and granddaughters. They were delighted with the property which was very comfortable. Everything they needed had been left for them with a lovely welcome pack including a bottle of wine! Although it was only a short stay they managed...in the freezing cold weather...to go to Castleward and enjoy the activities there for Easter . A trip on the strangford ferry was also a highlight! All in all a highly recommended place to stay in a great spot near to lots of special places! Thank you!

“Home away from home”
Reviewed 8 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

What a lovely and well equipped cottage! When we arrived the owner Elaine had even put up a Christmas tree to complete the festive atmosphere. There is so much to do in the area from beaches to hiking trails - we highly recommend a visit to this lovely neck of the woods!
