We stayed three nights and really enjoyed the place. The grounds are lovely and it is an easy walk into Soller. We received a warm welcome and the recommendations for dinner were excellent, notably Luna and Ca'n pintxo. Breakfast was the highlight of the day, sitting outside with lovely fruit, bread and eggs served to the table - all with slightly different options each day.
The room was bright with a comfortable bed and had a terrace at the front and back. The only downside was that there is no real division from the bathroom, with the loo being just a few steps from the bed.
The pool with columns has a stunning view of the mountains and the sun loungers were a comfortable place to relax. We did swim, but the water was very chilly - I always wonder why a hotel charging over 200 pounds per night can't have some form of solar heating to make the pool useable in the shoulder season.
Soller is a great place to be based, with no need for a car - other than to get there. We took the team to Port de Soller and walked to fornalutx via a lovely off-road route.
Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel for a few days.More
