Currently staying at the hotel. It is Saturday night, we arrived back from a nice dinner in Port Soller at 11.15pm. Asked for a beer and a tonic only to be told that the bar is closed. Asked if I could order it on room service. Guess what.. NO!
Apparently this is how it is in Majorca...
5 star?? Seriously?
Customer service ain't great so far!

Wonderful building, super staff and very central to Soller centre, literally a 1 minute walk. Great food and spotlessly clean hotel. Amazing views of the mountains from the hotel. We will go there again.

Stayed here for three night having got the room at a very good rate. The hotel isn't a luxury hotel but this is compensated by it's location and staff. The staff can't do enough for you. It was great to stay in a hotel where the guest was actually made feel welcome.

Thank you

We have just returned from

Sóller having stayed at this hotel. It is very traditional but tired in places. The whole staff are exemplary cannot fault them at all. However agree with previous reviewer the pool area is very small and being on the roof very hot hardly any shade at all and sun beds uncomfortable. Breakfast good but not amazing. Our room was on the 4th floor top of the hotel. We did have a lovely balcony and view, air conditioning which is a must. Location is excellent in the middle of Sóller town. Restaurants there are not fine dining but ok. If you want high end eating the Port is great. Would not recommend this hotel for families. We did not eat lunch or dinner here. It is a beautiful hotel with many lovely features, bars etc., but for us the staff made our stay very special.

Room Tip: Can only comment on our room 317 which was quite exceptional. Understand there are better and worse rooms.

Just now I learned that there seems to be an old part of this hotel and a new part.
This review is for room 208, which seems to be the old part.

The hotel is old, yes. So, if you only appreciate the newest styles, the newest materials, the most up-to-date feel – this hotel might not be for you.
BUT if you like old-fashioned hotels or at least are ready to deal with them, THIS is the place for you!

Absolute cleanliness. Amazing breakfast (best I have had in eternities). Super friendly, authentic staff. Manager´s door (Swedish) open to public opposite to reception. Best location. Spacy parking lot. Comfortable beds.
Just beautiful.

Note: You might tend to think this place is overpriced. My suggestion: Look for special offers or save some more money and spend it here.
For room 208, this is a 100 % recommendation for anyone who appreciates old-school hotels.

Room Tip: They have modern and old-school rooms, try to get what you prefer.
