Pascal the proprietor could not have been more helpful and because our flight wasn't until the evening, he let us stay till after the check out time. The breakfasts were superb and different every day, made of local produce. Pascal was happy to cater for different tastes on request. He and his family live off site, but we had his phone number if we needed him in the evening. The hotel is situated in the centre of town, just a 3 minute walk from the train station and it is possible to strike out into the hills where there are some beautiful, traditional villages and farms. For those who want the beach, there is a regular tram ride to the coast. The local museum has an amazing collection of vintage dolls as well as art by Miro and Picasso. The person who complained that you were asked to use the same towels during your stay, doesn't seem to realise that this is standard in all hotels and is an environmental policy.

Room Tip: The room with its own roof terrace is smaller than the others, but it is lovely to sit up there in the evening.

We recently spent 10 nights at this charming hotel. Our room (no 10) was spacious and spotlessly clean. There were luxurious, white fluffy towels that were changed daily in the bathroom and high quality bedding on the super king bed. The room was cleaned to a very high standard every day. Our room opened out to a nice little terrace area with a table / parasol / chairs / sun beds. Pascal is a wonderful host and very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Ask him for restaurant recommendations as all the places we tried that he’d suggested were fantastic. Breakfast was amazing, served in the pretty courtyard - there were different set items each day but you also were able to ask if you wanted anything different / additional. Presentation was what I can only call ‘Instagram photo perfection’ (see photos). There’s a store cupboard full of beach towel, parasols, chairs etc which you borrow for the beach. The hotel is a minutes walk from the central square which has plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel does have parking but as we were out and about each day, we just used the on street parking or car park around the corner. Highly recommended.

stayed for 6 nights. paid for 2 rooms.
poor breakfast with no choice.
full fee taken out on arrival-this is not usual.
no staff on site after 2.30!
you are requested to keep using the same towels!
if you have an accident you are told to dial 112 help!
DON'T STAY THERE. IT IS POOR VALUE AND YOU WILL REGRET IT

We stayed at the Ca'n Abril whilst visiting Soller for a wedding. It's delightful little hotel, with a beautiful central courtyard, where breakfast is served. We had a lovely room with an amazing little roof terrace that overlooked the rooftops of Soller.

Pascal, the proprietor, was very welcoming and his friendliness really set the tone for our stay. His recommendation of lunch at Casa Alvaro (ask for Victor!), was excellent.

Soller is beautiful town and Ca'n Abril is a great hotel. We were disappointed not to be able to stay longer.

This was our second stay and we’ll definitely be back. Sebastian the owner is the perfect host - a perfectionist who offers the highest standards of accommodation and excellent quality service. The staff are fantastic and the detail to attention is admirable. Stella was exceptional and couldn’t do enough for you.

The breakfast each morning is to die for, a surprise each morning and served at your table so you can really let your tyres down and be waited on! A bonus is the little store room in the courtyard that offers beach towels and parasoles to use during your stay - clearly items left by other visitors but washed and cleaned for use if you wish (we’d left towels and a parasole from last year which we found and used again!) also has a iton and ironing board and tea and coffee in ypur room and in the lobby which you make yourself whenever you want! Not something you come across in other places in Soller.

Looking forward to our next visit to Can Abril!
